Coached for roughly 30 years, starting in the 1950s
and continuing on into the early 1980s. Winner of a
Gatorade Coach of the Year award.

Little League.
12-year-old All Star team nearly won state title,
narrowly missing out on advancing to Williamsport,
Pennsylvania for the Little League World Series.

Fred Morin is a local businessman who served the
Southbridge Little League for a number of years,
including several years as the league president.
The 1955 Southbridge Little League All Star team
was one win away from the state championship
game and a trip to the Little League World Series.
Managed by Al Sladdin, the team's roster featured
Ken Bachand, Dick Bellerive, Dan Bousquet, Paul
Champagne, Bob Christo, Ron Cournoyer, Ron
Demerjian, Jim Ferron, George Fournier, Jack
Hanson, Mike Moriarty, Mike Partlow, Edgar
Plouffe, Pete Robidoux, and Bob Servant.
